Verseed complains of an invalid character in an abbreviation description
From BRTT
Question:
verseed complains of an invalid character in an abbreviation description.
Answer:
db2sd copies the information from various fields like insname in the database to create certain abbreviation description blockettes. It's not uncommon to use underscores in these fields, which then end up in the seed volume. Although verseed complains about them, according to Rick Benson, these are not a big problem, and the DMC will accept the SEED volume in spite of this. If you are determined to get rid of them, try editing the database.
