Is there a way to flush bad data out of an orbserver ring buffer?

Answer:

The only way to accomplish this is to stop the orbserver, and then restart it with the -r option, reinitializing the orbserver buffers. (Alternatively, you could remove the buffers after the orbserver was stopped; these are usually under the directory orb, but this is specified in the parameter file.)
